The rules should be respected by everyone, especially new members, in order for this blog to function properly
Rule 1: General Rules
1.1 In all situations, whether explicitly outlined in the Rules or not, the Moderator's judgement prevails
1.2 Respect your moderators, staff members and other users. Interfering with moderated decisions or messages is strictly prohibited
1.3 English should be the only language used outside the language-specific blog and forums
1.4 No political, religious and racist talk
1.5 Help others, especially new members
1.6 No replying to old topic (2 month+) unless you have some additional and necessary question or answer to provide
1.7 Do NOT use CAPS in your posts
1.8 Do not post links or requests for Warez or Malware
1.9 No pornographic, sexually offensive, sexually explicit, or objectifying material
1.10 Respect the privacy of others
1.11 Each member should maintain only ONE account
1.12 Any attempt to gain illicit access or illicitly elevate one's privileges on this Blog/Forum will result in immediate banning
1.13 Requesting or posting serial numbers, keygens or cracks for commercial programs or any other kind of illegal or pirate material is not allowed
1.14 Post in appropriate sections
1.15 Use the search functionality before posting or requesting
1.16 We take the "Be Polite" rule very seriously. We do not tolerate any rudeness. Any member who is intentionally unpleasant or disruptive may be banned without warning
1.17 You may not post on behalf of any banned member in any public manner
1.18 No cross posting. Post your message once, to the appropriate forum and nowhere else or it will be locked or deleted without warning
1.19 Don't attempt to infect members with trojans, virus, or backdoors or any kind of social engineering attack
1.20 No posting of others personal information. Privacy is to be respected here
1.21 No posting or requesting anything that has to do with breaching any privacy laws including but not limited to requests to assist in hacking emails, websites, networks or violation of other users privacy
1.22 If reporting a XSS or other kind of attack ALWAYS obfuscate the URL/IP/etc.. of the vulnerable host unless you have explicit permission by the owner to report so.
1.23 It is generally better to edit your previous post rather than to make consecutive posts on a thread, especially when you're just adding new information. Additionally if you wish to reply to multiple posts on a thread please use the MultiQuote feature rather than generating consecutive posts by having an individual reply to each. Violation of this rule is likely at the least to result in your posts being merged, however should a moderator decide you've been totally stupid they will at their discretion give you a formal warning.
Rule 2: Requesting
2.1 Make sure your request does not already exist. Use the search feature before requesting
2.2 Provide as much information as possible about your request
2.3 Be appreciative to those who have found your request and thank them for their effort and time
2.4 Do not request anything that is against blog/forum rules
2.5 When your request has been fulfilled, please add [Solved] in the front of your post title
Rule 3: Signature & Avatar
3.1 No offensive images or images that contain pornography
3.2 Image placed in the signature cannot be bigger than 300 x 450 pixels in width and height
3.3 Avatars image size should be at least 150 x 150 in width and height
3.4 The staff reserves the right to remove any avatar at any time
Rule 4: Warnings & Bans
4.1 Flaming or insulting members - 1 warning
4.2 Flaming or insulting staff members - Immediate BAN
4.3 A maximum of 3 warnings can be given to a member of this forum and can be earned by breaking any of the above rules
4.4 Requesting how to hack or illegally obtain access to a specific service like facebook, hotmail etc... - 2 warnings
4.5 Requesting for cracks/serials/etc... - 2 warnings
Rule 5: Advertising
5.1 Advertising your commercial site and/or software application in various ways is strictly forbidden
5.2 If you wish to advertise on this blog, please contact us
Rule 6: Problems
6.1 If you have any problems with the Blog PM an Administrator
6.2 If you have problem with members PM a moderator
6.3 If you have problem with any threads or posts PM a moderator
Rule 7: Reporting
7.1 Use the report button to report any threads or posts violating blog rules
Rule 8: Becoming Staff Member
8.1 Do not ask anyone of the staff if you can become a staff member. If we think you are doing great and we need more staff we will contact you
Rule 9: Privacy Policy
9.1 We will not release any member information unless under court order
9.2 We reserve the right to modify and amend these terms at any time without notice
9.3 It is your responsibility to remain informed of current rules
9.4 We do not monitor private messages unless there is an abuse investigation
